We are a plural system and neurodivergent. Due to memory disruptions, switching, and accessibility needs, we may record phone calls and meetings with service providers and professionals. These recordings are for personal reference, safeguarding, and accessibility, and are not shared unless required for legal or safeguarding purposes.

To support clear communication:

Legal Basis for Accessibility & Recording Practices (UK)
Our accessibility and safeguarding practices are supported by UK law:

Individuals may record conversations for personal use without informing the other party, provided the recordings are not shared without consent. - Data Protection Act 2018 & UK GDPR:
If recordings contain personal data, we have a lawful basis for processing under legitimate interest and handle all data securely and proportionately. - Equality Act 2010:
Protects disabled and neurodivergent individuals from discrimination. Accessibility accommodations—including memory support tools like recordings—are legally protected.
These laws support our right to record interactions with service providers for accessibility, safeguarding, and memory support. We do not record private individuals or confidential therapeutic conversations.
