Meltdown? I call it an outburst. It is an expression of assertiveness, self-respect, and self-determination. It is how we say you may not respect me 🚫, but I do!

There is a lot of talk from professionals 👩🏽⚕️ how it is important to regulate emotions. Personally, I believe only heartless and insensitive can “regulate” emotions. Our hearts do not have a tap that we can open and close according to one’s whim 💔. It is not just semantic when I say that instead or “regulating” emotions, we can only “manage” them 👩🏼💼.

All minorities have their own communities. 👪 They support each other. They speak each other’s language. They provide goods and services that their community find so important and that are not available through mainstream providers. 🏬 So, why not us? Why can we not have a community designed by us, for us. ♾️

I am going to share a music self-therapy 🎶 quickfix tip for the day-to-day angry feeling we may get when someone jumps the queue, or is rude, or insensitive 😡. This method works well for this specific kind of instance.
